- A DOS attack does not show any sophistication on the part of the attackers. It is the equivalent of getting a group of your friends together to make prank phone calls to a business. You get enough people doing it, and legitimate callers can't get through.

- Ummmm.... no..... you cannot apply statistics to an individual case. Statistics apply to large groups, not sets of one data point. You may argue that there is a racial bias in the court systems, and you'd likely be right. but you cannot apply it to individual cases like this.
